I enjoyed watching “X-Men: The Last Stand” more than “The Dark Phoenix.” The story was more compelling and mysterious. My favorite actors and actresses from the original trilogy appeared in it, too. ❤ My excitement when they announced a reboot of the X-Men, “First class,” turned to disappointment when I learned that these actors and actresses that I had grown up with and loved were not going to be in it... :( At least I saw all of them together, one more time, in “Days of Future Past.” :)
Three things that were missing in this new adaptation were: 1. Wolverine, 2. No post-credits scene (we want to see MORE X-Men movies!), and 3. Stan Lee (RIP) cameo. Hopefully we won't have to wait FIVE years before they release the next X-Men movie. :\ The X-Men is still my favorite comic from Marvel. I can identify with the mutants because they are outcasts and have superpowers. I like it more than the Avengers. The mutants are more human. Which one was your favorite adaptation: “The Last Stand” or “Dark Phoenix”? I'm Ready for the Zombie Apocalypse! It’s funny that I’m always thinking about how to protect my people, whenever I’m watching programs about zombies. These are some of my ideas. 1. An island protected by a shield.
2. A castle on top of a hill, with a drawbridge at the bottom. 3. A city surrounded by high walls in the shape of right triangles to eliminate any structural weaknesses. Don’t worry; it will still have its entrance and exit. Historical documents, rescued from the Royal Library of Alexandria, reveal that Ms. Vivian was the snake that most likely bit Cleopatra.
