I was talking to somebody and I told him I had an Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. He told me he also had OCD; his obsession was counting. But he said he called it OCG, Obsessive Compulsive Gift, because it made his mind think in ways that “normal” people cannot, like a superpower. I told him for me it was more like a curse, because it has made me suffer very much (my enemies made me sick intentionally to judge me and make fun of me, but I did not tell him this). When we said bye, I said jokingly that I would think about what he said, about OCD being a gift, the next time I had to wash my hands. But, after having reflected on the subject, I agreed with him, because we must always be thankful for all the suffering that God allows us to suffer.
